秀吉の正室ねねの菩提寺である高台寺にある休憩処。見学コースを大部分を回ったところにお店はあり、庭園を愛でながら抹茶がいただける。ぼうっとしていると大阪夏の陣をここから眺めていたねねの複雑な心境に想いを馳せる。時が止まる。
土曜日の昼下がりにお邪魔しました。たまたまかもしれませんが、先客も後客もいない静謐で贅沢な時間を堪能できた。
凄い名刹なのに、紅葉の季節を除けば穴場的スポットなのはもったいないけど、自分的にはまったりできるありがたい場所。
