某百貨店の京都の催事のイートインコーナーで食べました。
明治末期、上方落語家の『2代目桂文之助』こと『初代（創業者）』によって開業したお店らしいです。
以前は、大井町の阪急内に店舗があり、時々食べに行っていましたが、いつの間にか無くなってしまったので、東京では京都の催事に出店した時にしか食べられません。（新横浜にはお店があるらしいですが）
今回は、広告にも掲載されていた「文の助茶屋の錦秋プレート」というのを頼みました。
紅葉の京都をイメージした甘味に冷たいグリーンティーが添えられています。
文の助茶屋のわらび餅、芋ようかん、白玉、二色アイス、小豆などが小皿の上に盛りつけられていました。
甘さ抑えめで、食べやすかったです。
