I decided to go to Kyoto for my wedding anniversary, so I looked for a restaurant where I could eat boiled tofu. The store is just inside Hanamikoji in Gion. The area has a great atmosphere and the exterior is stylish. I had the tofu and yuba kaiseki meal, which requires advance reservations. Actually, I had a hard time getting through to the phone to make a reservation, so I gave up until the last minute, but I was able to make a reservation. (They won't answer the phone right after they open in the evening, so please call at a reasonable time...!) Moriyoshi's tofu is very delicious and makes you happy. It was a kaiseki meal that gave you a taste of Kyoto as you could eat various types of yuba. The milk pudding for dessert was so elegant and delicious that I wanted to eat it all! This highly satisfying course costs about 5,000 yen per person, so it's very cost-effective! ! (I was surprised) When it comes to boiled tofu, I usually go to Arashiyama or Nanzenji, but it's nice to be able to eat it in Gion, which is close to my hotel. When you leave the store, they will see you off until you turn the corner. Enjoy the beautiful night of Gion on your way home. It was a very happy wedding anniversary. Thank you for the meal ^^
