【水炊き】冬季のみ営業（完全予約制） |
観光客も多い祇園新橋の路地裏に構える水炊き専門店。夏季限定のランチ営業では、親子丼、肝丼がいただける。接客は祇園の料理店らしく、非常に丁寧。
京町家の風情あるお店で、坪庭には鯉が泳いでいる。
この日の日中の気温は30度。夏季限定営業であることからか「納涼感」が感じられた。おしぼりやお茶はキンキンに冷えていて、坪庭からは筧から流れる水の音が聞こえ、鯉がゆったり泳いでいる。気温は高いが涼しげな気分になってきて、寛げる和カフェのような雰囲気。店内にはゆったりした時間が流れる。坪庭に面した席が取れれば特等席。
親子丼は、1500円。テイクアウトだと1000円。
具を別盛りにすることもできる。
鶏肉は産地を限定せず、その時に応じていい鶏肉を選んでいるそう。黄身が濃い卵を使っており、卵の風味が濃厚。卵は固めではなく、とろとろな仕上がり。
水炊き用のスープを親子丼のベースに使っており、コクがある仕上がりになっている。水炊き用のスープは鶏スープにも使われており、塩と生姜が加えられている。
また親子丼の味変として、山椒が入ったピリ辛の鶏そぼろがつく。朧豆腐がつくのも嬉しい。
冬季営業時の水炊きも食べてみたい。
