I had lunch at "Gion Yamanbun Aoki-an," which is quietly located in the back streets of Gion Hanamikoji. This restaurant is a 100-year-old teahouse in a Gion townhouse with a traditional atmosphere. I reserved a private room, and the soothing Japanese-style room is soothing with its small garden. <Summer Kaiseki> ・9 dishes including 9-frame hassun conger eel Sushi, all of which are elegantly seasoned and warming. ・Sashimi Conger eel, sea bream, and flounder, fresh and delicious. ・Clean soup Conger eel, whole corn, and edamame ・Watercress, lightly seasoned with dashi broth. ・Steamed dish Conger eel raw yuba, the yuba goes well with the ginger-flavored bean paste. ・Cold somen noodles Chilled somen noodles with a firm texture and delicious broth. ・Dishes It was a lunch where I enjoyed the atmosphere and flavors of Kyoto.
