最近京都に帰ると最近思い立ったように行くお店。
夜のお店が立ち並ぶ祇園界隈、白川通りから僅かに外れた位置にある。お店に入り、奥まで通る鴨川が沿いの雰囲気がわずかに見える暗い店内に大きなテーブルが一つ。そこに客は少しずつ並んで座り飯を頂く。
飯は、その日の料理がボードに書かれているのみ。前菜から肉、魚料理と揃っており、店員さんに軽く相談しながらメニューを選ぶ。
個人的な意見として、前菜のクオリティの高さには毎回目を見張る。10品ほどの盛合せ、一品一品にこだわりを感じ、そのどれもが極めて美味しい。
加えて、肉、野菜は素材の味を引き出す形で、シンプルな仕上げのものが多かったように記憶にしている。これもまた胸を打つ。
最後にこれでもか、とパスタを頼むと、これまた期待を超えるもの跳ね返ってくる。ウニのパスタ、美味しかったなぁ。
あんまり人が増えて欲しくはない店だけど、評価されて欲しいお店の一つ。
