A chain Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for the masses where all items are priced at 280 yen (hereafter referred to as Toriki). A place of relaxation for office workers and students. ^ ^ I started with a large Kinmugi beer and then some cabbage (free refills). Personally, I ordered Toriki's signature dish, a large 500ml mug for 280 yen, which I'm really happy about. The cabbage and mayonnaise are a must. Yakitori is 280 yen for two skewers, which is big for the price and pretty tasty. The other menu items are also great value for money. Personally, I always order boiled eggs, chicken plain noodles, the yakitori left to selection of the chef, a little water parsley (some sauces work well and some don't), kizoku-yaki peach sauce (says negima), and beef skewers. It's also good that they don't serve it as an appetizer. ^ ^ It's tasty, cheap, lively, and pretty much everywhere, so it's a reliable Toriki. ^ ^ It would be great if they had sashimi, but that's not the case here.
