Mysterious Gourmet Explorers in Kyoto. Today we are having Japanese-style meal in Kyoto. We came to Kyoto to see the cherry blossoms, but unfortunately the blossoms were later than planned and the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms are still in bud. In this case, "food is better than flowers." We went to "Aji Fukushima" in Gion. This restaurant has only seven seats at the counter. For lunch, they only offer a set course for 7,150 yen including tax. First, we had Kyoto yuba. It had a gentle taste. Next, we had sashimi. It was red sea bream and squid from Akashi. Other dishes included a bowl of bamboo shoots and clams, vinegared mozuku seaweed from Noto, red sea bream and bamboo shoots, and more. Every dish was delicious. It took about 90 minutes from the start to the final dessert. We enjoyed spring Kyoto cuisine in a calm atmosphere. It's no wonder it has been awarded a Michelin star. It was very delicious. Please note that lunch payments are only accepted in cash. It may have been a coincidence, but the other two groups of customers were both from overseas. There are a lot of inbound tourists in Kyoto in spring.
