I live in the Kanto region, but whenever I stop by Kyoto, I always go to this restaurant. It's been here since before they moved, so I guess it's been 10 years. I'm really grateful that they've been providing the same delicious food for that time. When you write that it's in Gion or a high-end restaurant, it may seem like it's a high-class restaurant, but that's not the case and it's a restaurant with a casual atmosphere. That said, unlike popular Fried Skewers restaurants that don't allow you to dip your skewers in sauce twice, the prices are a bit high, but considering the location and the taste, they're actually quite cheap. The basic menu is selection, and they bring out one skewer at a time in the order of the menu until you call a stop. If you try to eat them all, you'll get quite full, so it might be a good idea to thin out a few or stop halfway and add more skewers to your liking. They will tell you the flavor that goes well with the ingredients of the skewer each time, so I think it's best to follow that at first. Sometimes it's hard to hear, so don't hesitate to ask them back (lol) The green onions, carrots, and cucumbers that you get as a palate cleanser are also very good! This is a skewered Fried Skewers restaurant that you can't go wrong with for an adult date.
