コロナの影響がわずかに軽減され、祇園に沢山の人が現れてひっそりとしていた日常が嘘の様に思われるシルバーウィークの真っ只中、もう秋と思わせる澄み切った空に対照的な陽射しが差し込む祇園の花見小路に、この店と出会うことが出来ました。
元々はとても大きな桶屋の建物の中に中庭を取り囲むような和風の玄関に対して、余りにも対照的なモダンなデザインのイタリアンレストランは、最初から期待させます。
この日はなかなか駐車場が見つけることが出来ず、遅刻する旨を事前連絡したものの、とても明るくもてなして頂きました。
本日は、平治であれば、8人程度は着座できる個室にて、たった2名、秋の近づく草履の音が聞こえてくるようなお庭を眺めながら沢山の食材を宝石のような料理を瀟洒な食器と共に提供していただいた事に感謝しております。
料理には、まだお若いシェフのイノベーティブが先走っていたり、前日の料亭の料理が基本に忠実であった仕事であったせいか、些細な点ではこうあるものという点も若干あるものの、それが逆に好意的に働いており、個々の入魂の作に対して素人が異論を挟むべきものではないと思います。
更にソムリエの方の会話の巧妙さで更に食に弾みがつきました。
最初から、最後まで素晴らしい時間・空間を共有できました。
ランチ最後の客となった私たちが、通りの角を曲がるまで見送って頂いたことを忘れはしません。 祇園滞在の際には必ず再訪する事を伴侶と共に誓ったことは言うまでもありません。
総じて 万人にお勧め出来る、素晴らしいイタリアンレストランです。
