There are many view spots in Kyoto. With only a little time left in the trip, it is a bit difficult to choose one. I decided to go back to my roots and wander around the Kiyomizu-dera area, where the construction work must have been completed. This is a road I have walked many times. I visited Kiyomizu-dera a few years ago, and the construction work is now finished, and a beautiful view is spreading out before me. This plain feeling is good for experiencing the feeling of traveling. I walked north towards Kodai-ji and decided to stop by this place, which is always full of people, for a cup of tea. It was still early in the morning. There were no other customers, and the stylish CAFE was all to myself. Wow, this is something that doesn't happen often, and it was such a luxury. I went through the glass door and ordered a hot coffee (450 yen) at the counter in front. From the unlimited seats I could choose, I took my place on the terrace, the best seat. The scenic view of Kyoto spread out below me, with the five-story pagoda. It was quiet and the breeze was pleasant, and I felt like I got a good deal for the same amount of money. I enjoyed the luxurious time leisurely sipping the warm, refreshing, yet robust-tasting coffee while gazing blankly at this wonderful painting. In my mind, the music "Dabada~♪" was playing. However, the only thing that didn't fit the painting was my own image lol. After spending some time relaxing and leisurely, I headed north again. Detailed rating: 3.37
