明治時代の呉服商の別邸がホテル&レストランになっている「菊水」を訪問。南禅寺の参道から脇道に入ると直ぐに、大きな日本家屋が現れます。予約の時間より早め到着したので、庭園を散策させて頂きました。小規模ながら見事な回遊式庭園で、幹が左右に張り出した赤松を中心に小川や石庭、家屋が配置されていました。
さて料理は、醤油だれと葛アンのたれにつけて食べる湯豆腐が大変美味しかったです。先付のカニ酢も良かった。雲丹が載った胡麻豆腐、淡路の鯛、佐々木酒造の「鯉ケ滝」など、色々な美味しい記憶が残りました。ご馳走さまでした。機会があればまた伺いたいと思います。
