祇園でフレンを食べて来ました。
場所は、鯖寿司で有名な「いづう本店」の隣のビルの4F。
「不急不要」、「夜間外出自粛」と言われると、さすがに気が引けてきます。
17:30予約で、客は僕ら2人のみ。19:00から２組の予約だけだそうです。
ディナーコース。
通常5800円のコースが、18%引で5000円でした。
まず、海の幸のテリーヌが出てきました。
今回はあえて赤ワインをグラスで注文。
次にエスカルゴ、オマールと真鯛のパイ包みビスク添え、フィレビーフアラメゾン、フロマージュと続き、最後のデザートで終了です。
特別感のない、オーソドックスなメニューでしたが、祇園ど真ん中の立地、これで5000円なら文句ない夕食になります。パイ包みが美味しかったですね。
シェフがひとりで切り盛りされているお店で、誰かの家に招かれ、ホームパーティーをやっているようなお店でした。
こんなご時世、どんどん出してもらって、1時間足らずでコースを終え、店を出て、すぐに連れと別れて、食事だけにしてホテルに帰りました。
