京都のウエスティン都ホテルのオールディダイニング「洛空」。「らくう」と読むそうです。朝食をここで頂きました。
東山の自然と京都市街が見渡せ古都の雰囲気を楽しめます。高さ6mの吹きぬけの空間があるため、開放感があります。席数は186席。
ビュッフェか和朝食かを選択できます。京都なので
和朝食も考えましたが、和洋のビュッフェが豊富なため、ビュッフェを選びました。50種以上のメニューを揃えていてテンションも上がります。
一番おもしろかったのが「おにぎりコーナー」京都の老舗米問屋八代目儀兵衛のオリジナルブランドご飯で作るおにぎりです。
おにぎり職人さんが絶妙の握り具合で作ってくれるのです。昆布、梅干し、ちりめん山椒、塩鮭など、選べるトッピング。自分で好きな具材をチョイスして、できたてのおにぎりを食べる幸せ。
「ヌードルコーナー」ではうどん又はにゅうめんを頂けます。お揚げ、山菜、ネギ、ワカメ。
豊富なサラダバーは京野菜が並びます。
エッグステーションではオムレツなどの玉子料理を注文できます。
京都のおばんざいもたくさん。都ホテルカレーも食べました。パンケーキも。
アイスクリームとシャーベットも種類が多いです。
少し食べ過ぎたかも？
今回私はクラブフロアに宿泊したので、この「洛空」だけでなく、「ウエスティンクラブ」で朝食を取ってもいいのですが、この「洛空」で食べたのは正解だったと思います。
