京都の「The Door」のバーテンダーだった方がこちらに移動すると聞いたのは2019年の10月。やっと来ることが出来ました。そのバーテンダーさんはお休みで残念でしたが、その残念が吹き飛ぶほどそのバーのコンセプトに圧倒されます。このバーの景観を中心にホテルの配置をしたとバーテンダーさんが仰っていました。京都が一望。
ホテルオリジナルの「季の美」（写真の青い瓶）で作るジントニック。和の雰囲気を醸し出します。次にダークラムベースのショート。マンハッタン風ですが、これも一工夫されています。
ホテル宿泊の方だけが、予約を取れるというこのバー。鉄板焼きのお店が隣にあり、そこから移動という黄金のパターンもあり。
もちろん、パークハイアットです。ホテルの格もトップレベルです。いいホテルに、いいバー。言う事なしです。
