下鴨神社に行く前に腹ごしらえをしようとやってきました(^o^)/
出町柳駅から徒歩10分ほどの所にあるイスラエル料理のお店。
イスラエル料理は人生初☆
外観も店内もカラフルで可愛らしい雰囲気。
ちょっと南国っぽいイメージもあり。
メニューを見ると良く分からない食べ物の名前も…。
ランチセットは4種類で、その中から
ファラフェルセットを選択 1230円
セットにはドリンク付きで、コーヒーをチョイス。
提供された料理は一見ピタサンド。
ふわふわパン生地に、野菜とファラフェルたっぷり！
ファラフェルとはイスラエルで2000年以上の歴史を持つ郷土料理だそう。
主な原料はひよこ豆で、コリアンダーリーフも入っているとの事。
また卵、乳製品不使のヴィーガン食としても注目されてるのだとか。
見た目はまんまミートボールだけど、中は緑色でした笑
味はちょっとスパイスの効いた肉団子って感じ。
ひよこ豆の存在感はなかったです。
癖のある料理かと思ってましたが、普通に美味しかったです^ ^
