当店は、四川料理の父と言われた陳建民氏の最後の弟子で、「現代の名工」も受賞された田口茂雄シェフの人気中華料理店。
当店のあんかけ焼きそばが大のお気に入りで、よく通っていた。2021年に初代が他界され、2代目の息子さんが継承されていると聞き、代替わりしてから初訪問。
土日の11時30分に到着すると、外待ち5人目で待機。10分程待って、入店。
名物メニューの「卵白あんかけチャーハン」と「あんかけ焼きそば」に加えて、水餃子と春巻き、瓶ビールを注文。
まずは、スープと卵白あんかけチャーハンが着皿。
いざ、実食！
まずまずの美味しさ。
シンプルな炒飯の上に、真っ白な卵白が乗っており、ふわふわとパラパラの食感が面白い。
あんかけ焼きそばは、軽く焼かれた麺が美味く、とろとろで塩味のあんかけと具材との相性が良い。
春巻きは美味しかったが、本格中華の王道春巻きを期待していたが、トマトやチーズが入ったイタリアン具材だったのが、少々残念。
当店で初めてあんかけ焼きそばを食べた時の感動には遠く及ばないが、2代目がいつか先代に追いつき追い越すのを見届けるべく、今後も「あんかけ焼きそば」を求めて訪問したい。
