I found the signboard while walking down Imadegawa Street and had been interested in this store for some time. On the day I visited, I had already visited two restaurants and had eaten and drank a lot, so I was hesitant about whether to go in. However, since I had come all the way to Kyoto, I decided to take a look. It's hard to see inside the store, so it's a bit difficult to enter, but it can also be interpreted as giving off a hideaway-like atmosphere. When I entered the store, there were two tables and a few seats at the counter. I think the area is small, but perhaps it's because the interior design is well thought out, so it doesn't feel too small. It seems that the female owner is running the restaurant by herself. Since I don't know anything about wine, I told the owner that I like sweet white wine. Then, I was offered a wine called "Dauphiné Rondillon 2003" and ordered it by the glass. As for the cheese platter, you could choose the cheese according to your taste. Looking at the wine in the glass, it looked quite dark and thick. The scent is very sweet and feels nice. As soon as I put it in my mouth... It's so delicious that I'm speechless! I don't drink that many types of wine, but this is definitely the best wine I've ever had. It also goes well with cheese. It was so delicious that I finished it quickly, so I was offered another glass of dry white wine. I forget the name, but it was a refreshing and delicious white wine.
