下鴨神社の境内にある甘味処、「さるや」さん。
何気なく入って、あとから有名店だったことを知りました。
今まで食べてきたかき氷の中で間違いなく一番美味しかったです。
かき氷専門店を謳っているお店のものよりも、氷室の氷は純度が高く、味が繊細で頭にキーンと響くこともなく、ひたすら良質な水分が体を満たしていく感覚を味わえます。
