京都御所から東に向かい平安神宮の手前となる、今流行りの京都岡崎らしいビストロ。近くのワインショップが経営する、かなりマニアックなナチュールワインが楽しめる。気軽なサービスと古民家をリニューアルしたシチュエーションは、もうそれだけで京都にある価値を感じる。
今回のメインは鹿肉。柔らかくローストした鹿肉は、期待を裏切らない完璧な火入れ。別皿に盛られた塩だけでも十分美味しく食べられる。鹿肉のジュと赤ワインのソースがオーソドックス。万願寺唐辛子との組合せが京都らしい。
お任せコースのアミューズはシャモのテリーヌから始まる。しっかりしたシャモの味わいが、ナチュールのスパークリングに負けない。オードブルは烏賊、フレッシュマッシュルーム、戻りガツオ。ワインのともには文句がないバリエーションとなっている。
ポアソンはフグのホワイトクリーム煮。ブルゴーニュシャルドネとの相性が抜群。フグの噛み応えの良さが、フレンチらしいホワイトクリームと合っていて新しい感覚。ヴィアンドの鹿肉の露払いには、申し分がない仕上がり。
京都岡崎で古民家の日本料理屋をリノベーションしたビストロが楽しい。ナチュールワインのラインナップは、さすがワインショップが経営するだけのことはあると思わされる。まさに、今時の京都を代表するような店と言えるのではないだろうか。
