修学院離宮の予約時間までまだ間があったので、ここで軽く食事をして待つことにしました。この辺りは、食堂も他には見当たらず、ここ一軒だけ。そういう意味では、競争もしていないので、どんなかなあとちょっと心配もしたのですが、結果はリーズナブル。いただいたきつねうどんは、厚いお揚げに味がよく沁みて、京都らしい味わい。ペロンとしたやわらかいうどんとマッチしていて、けっこううまいです。
女将さんも気さく。この辺りは、修学院村といった場所で、地域のつながりが強い土地柄なんだそうです。
