七条の高級ホテル「ハイアットリージェンシー」の
ペストリーブティックを訪問。
○おいCベリーのゼリーとシャンパンムースケーキ+紅茶(¥1300)
1番ビジュアルでそそられたケーキ。
外側のソースの濃厚さ、なかなか。
シャンパンムースはさっぱりしてて
シャンパンかどうかはあんまりわかんない。
その中にはイチゴのゼリーが入っていて
この位置に入ってるのがクリームじゃなくて
ゼリーってのはかなり珍しい気がする。
ぷるっとした食感が新鮮だった。
土台のクッキー生地はかなり硬くて
ナイフやフォークでは切れなくて
最後に残してクッキーだけで食べた。
だからケーキとの一体感と言うよりは
この繊細なケーキを支えるための
土台としての役割がほとんど。
紅茶はホテルにしては良心的価格だったけど
渋味が回るのがかなり早くて
後半はミルクがないと飲みにくかったかな。
正直期待したほどではなかったんだけど
でも個人的にかなり思い出深い場所でもあって
また必ず来ると思う。
