夜行バスにて朝７時前に京都到着の観光客な私です。祇園の宿に向かう途中に七条通りを歩いていたら開店前の小さなお店を見かけました。
狭小な間口が妙に気になったので１６時ぐらいに再訪問してみました。日曜開いているパン屋は貴重なので確認したかったのです。。
店内は焼き場と直接繋がった様な簡素な作りです。店内に入るとパン焼きしながら粉だらけの小父さんが出てきました(笑)
全般的にパンの値段が良いですね～♪大きいのに１００円チョイが殆んどです。
時間が遅いので個数は少なめでしたがそれなりに選べました。面白そうな物はチョコスネーク１１０円と定番？ミルクフランス１３０円を選択です。
お会計しながら御主人と話したのですが朝お店を開けるのは７～８時ぐらいかなぁ？って感じでした（爆）
さてチョコスネークは優しい感じの和風デニッシュにタップリとチョコレートが乗ってます。シットリとしたバンズはクロワッサンの親戚みたいな芳醇な味でした。お店の感じからすると意外な展開かも？
期待以上はミルクフランスでした。トングで挟んだ瞬間解りましたが、同じ商品名でもリトルマーメイドのフニャ系ハードパン（日本語変ですね）とは全然ちがいシッカリとしたフランスパンです。簡単に噛みちぎれないパンのクラスト部分が旨い！
チョッと残念だったのは練乳使用のクリームで御菓子っぽい味が強調された事です。これ其の侭の方がマジ旨い筈。。
小さな街中パン屋さんの実力を垣間見た気がします(笑)
