京都には何店舗かある小川珈琲ですが、本店は初めて。
モーニングタイムに利用することが出来ました。
２階席はクローズされてましたが、２エリアある１階席は入れ替わり立ち替わり、ほぼ満席の様子。
陽当たりのよいサンルーム風の席に案内されましたが、真夏にはちょっと向かなかったかな・・・
私は「サンドイッチモーニング」、相方は「クロックマダム風チーズトーストモーニング」を注文。
サイドイッチは、ハム・たまご・野菜がたっぷり入ったミックスサンドで、トーストされた全粒粉食パンを使用。
チーズトーストは、京都産小麦食パンにハムエッグとたっぷりのチーズがのっかったもの。
お互い少し交換して食べてみましたが、どちらも食べ応えある美味しさでした。
で、小川珈琲のブレンドコーヒーって、あんまり印象に残ってなかったんですが、この日は思いのほか美味しく感じて・・・
カップはロゴを正面に置くと取っ手が斜めになって、それと対称のように置かれたスプーンとスティックシュガーが何気にステキでしたね。
