前を通りかかった時、ちょっと西洋風の大きな建物で、一軒家かなと思ったら、喫茶店でした。
マスターがアンティークのコーヒーカップを選んで出してくれるようなこだわりのある喫茶店で、コーヒーも自家焙煎で、毎回豆を挽いて出してくれるほど。
近くの立命館大学の教授が生徒を連れて訪れたりもするそうです。
私はアンティークとかは特に興味はないのですが、コーヒーのおいしさだけは、なんとなくですが「違うな」ということを感じました。
シフォンケーキは手作りで、とっても優しい味がしました。
きっとこの雰囲気が好きだという人にはたまらないと思います。
こういう、大学の近くの喫茶店には珍しく、駐車場も完備。
ここのお店を本当に好きな人が通っている、というのがよくわかります。
普段はこってりしたスイーツが楽しめるかわいいカフェとかが好きなのですが、たまにはこういうちょっと高級な雰囲気に浸ってみるのもいいかと思いました。
