１週間ほど前に電話で２階席を予約。
予約時間の１９時より少し前にお店に到着しました。
お店は、桂駅西口から徒歩１０分程度の場所にあります。
車の通りが多い道路のすぐ近くにあるためか、つい見過ごしがちですが
その佇まいは素朴ながらもセンスのよさが光っています。
店内は１階がカウンター席で、２階がお座敷の席です。
２階席へ続く階段は個人宅（一軒家）の階段と同じで、まるで友達の家に招かれたような錯覚を起こします。
この日は旬の食材を使った料理が7～8品いただける「旬膳 おまかせ」（3,300円）を注文しました。
いただいたコースの内容は以下のとおり。（いただいた順に列挙）
①前菜 ・・・焼きナスと菊菜の味噌和え、里芋のあられ揚げ、クワナとレンコンの揚げ物、卵焼き）
②お通し・・・蕪の風呂吹き
③お造り・・・石鯛、ブリ
④お椀・・・銀杏のすり流し
⑤箸休め・・・柿の白和え
⑥揚げ物・・・コチ、紫芋、サツマイモ、シイタケ
⑦ご飯・・・・ごぼうご飯、お味噌汁噌のもずく入味噌汁
⑧デザート・・・くるみのプリン
どのお料理も、時間をかけて丁寧に作られたことが伝わってくるお味です。
その日の旬の食材をじっくり吟味し、一番おいしくいただける調理方法で提供する、
そんな料理人の食へのこだわりが強く感じられます。
また、お給仕をしてくれるおかみさんも一品ずつ丁寧にお料理の説明をしてくれます。
その姿はどこかしら、愛情込めて育てたわが子を世に送り出す母親の姿を連想させます。
いただく方も自然と“ほんの一口ずつ”大事に味わいたくなります。
お料理が出揃うまでに２時間３０分ほどかかりましたが、そのぶん一品ずつじっくりと味わせていただきました。
お料理をいただくことを通して、時間も大事に味わえる不思議な場所。
訪れた人みんなから大切にされるお店だと思います。
