阪急西院駅近くの肉系居酒屋
京都に来るたび、必ず立ち寄ってしまう店。
それが阪急西院駅の雑踏と折り鶴会館を通り過ぎると現れる、この「かしわ」。
かしわ、という名前から、焼き鳥専門かと思ったが、豚肉も取り扱う鶏&豚専門焼肉居酒屋。
まず私の様に鳥刺し&内臓系の刺身が好きなら、必ず注文してしまう刺し盛り。
新鮮な鳥もも、鶏胸、ハツ、砂肝、鳥レバーの刺身盛りである。
焼きメニューを注文すると、鮮度が落ちるので断られてしまうため、真っ先に注文。
焼きメニューは鶏肉と豚肉の様々な部位を、席に備え付けられたコンロで焼く焼肉スタイルで、気軽に楽しめる店。
難点を挙げるとすると、分煙はない、というところだろう。

もうこの店に行けば、店長が顔を覚えてくれたらしく、わざわざ食事中と退店時に挨拶に来てくれる。
そういう行きつけが出来たことも嬉しいが、それよりも以前とは違って「刺身は今日はやってないんです」という言葉をあまり聞かなくなった気がする。
冬だからだろうか…。
今日は鶏タタキがなかったため、よだれ鶏を注文。
これも、外側だけ軽くあぶって中は超レア。
コチュジャンだろうか、辛みそ系のソースで食べる絶品鶏タタキだ。
内蔵系を含む、刺身盛り合わせは安定の美味さ。
鮮度には本当に自信があるのだと感じるが、やはり美味い。
