京の西、帷子ノ辻から徒歩5分ほど。
外観はウッディで、ちょっとアメリカン。
入り口付近に、おいしそうなパンやケーキがずらりと並びます。
パンを見ながら、注文をして、席に。
店内専用のメニューもあり、サンドイッチなどアイテム豊富。
注文をしたときに、京都弁じゃないな、と思い、
聞いてみると、
なんとこちらのスタッフさんたちは、オーストラリアで、
出会った仲間なんだそう。
パンやケーキはざっくりした外観ですが、
なんと、とても美味。
しかも、とにかく、安い。
え？？ この価格でいいんですか？ というぐらいです。
この日、いただいたもの。
１、アーモンドシナモンロール
150円
大きなロールで、アーモンドたっぷり。
２、キャロットケーキ
450円
チーズクリームも美味で、
ケーキもしっとり。
クルミもたっぷり。
３、アールグレイティー
350円
鉄瓶で供されます。
オーストラリア産のはちみつが店内で
販売されています。
パンやケーキには、ほぼこのはちみつが使用されている
とのことで、甘みがまろやかで、やさしいです。
食事メニューもおいしそうだったので、
次回、京都訪問には絶対再訪しようと思います。
