具材のチョイスに抜かりなし
ここは以前からずっといきたいと思っていたお店です。今回はお仕事のご褒美に、訪問の機会を得ました。お店の佇まいは、かなりのレトロで、かつ、雑多な印象を受けます。店員さんは皆さん元気が良くて、わいわいしてます。
最初の蛍烏賊の雑炊仕立ては、度胆を抜かれました。お造りのレベルは素晴らしいです。
思っていたよりも、天ぷらは少なめでした。でも、いずれも季節感の溢れる素晴らしいものでした。
料理の見せ方も大変インパクトがあり、楽しめました。
敢えて言うなら、もう少し繊細さがあっても良かったかなと思います。でも、素材は最高なものしかありませんでした。ご馳走さまでした。

ここは4年ぶりの来訪になります。京都ではあまりにも有名なお店です。建物はかなり古めで、歴史を感じますね。飾り気のない大将は、忙しく動き回ります。
午後は天ぷらと銘打ってますが、天ぷら以外がかなり強烈な印象です。全ての食材にこだわりを感じますし、独創性も凄いですね。
しかしながら、当然ですが、天ぷらの味も天下一品ですね。京都ではやはり随一のレベルかと思います。
お値段がお値段ですので、気軽に行けるお店では無いですが。
