最寄り駅は、京都市営地下鉄北大路駅になるだろうが、離れているので車が便利。駐車場あり。京都市北区の住宅街にひっそりと佇む当店。国賓のおもてなしにも選ばれる京都の老舗フランス料理レストラン。ちょっと敷居が高い雰囲気だが、父が何度か利用しているとのことで、一族でちょっとしたお祝い会を開催することに。外観はフランスにありそうなちょっと派手目な外観。しかし、内観は重厚感があり、格調高い。もちろん、接客は丁寧。個室に案内してもらった。お願いしておいたのは、ランチ デジョネ５５００円サ別。内容は、キールの食前酒（車の運転があるので、オレンジジュースをお願いした）、根セロリと煮込み牛肉のオードブル１、オマール海老のギャレットのオードブル２、パン、ホタテとアワビ茸のオードブル３、オマール海老のビスクスープ、縞鯵のポワレ地元大根ソース掛けの魚料理、和牛ヒレ肉のステーキの肉料理、グリオットチェリーのソルベ、ムースやケーキなど６種のデザートからお好きなだけ、コーヒー。とにかくどれも旬の食材を意識した素晴らしい料理の数々。技術の高さも随所に感じる。全ての料理が美味しい。そして、高級店では考えられないようなコストパフォーマンス。デザートもお好きなだけと言うので、全種を少なめでお願いした。中でも、キャラメルムースは絶品！一族、皆、大満足で、良いお祝い会になった。小生の中で、思い出に残るレストランとなった。
