【北大路】WIFE&HUSBAND（ワイフアンドハズバンド）
※2020年7月初旬の訪問です
北大路のカリスマカフェ、WIFE&HUSBANDへ。
雨の日なので、ピクニックは出来なかったけど、このお店のしっとりした雰囲気は雨に似合っていて、相変わらず居心地が良いです。
自家製ローストのDaughterを頂きます。
とにかく良い香り。
ずっしりと重みのある香りですが、飲むと意外にも軽くて、後味が長く続きます。
アイスコーヒーはピッチャーから、自分で氷の入ったグラスに注ぐスタイル。
バタートーストは出町柳のベーカリーのものをお使いで、ザクッとしていてシンプルに美味しい。
お店に配された古道具たちも、しっくり馴染んでいる。落ち着く空間づくり、参考になるなぁ。
以前は海外からのお客さんも多く、ちょっと落ち着かない感じになってしまっていたのですが、
今は静かにコーヒーが愉しめて、本来のこのお店の在り方が見えた気がしました。
難しいところですね・・・
