Opened on April 13, 2020! Enjoy authentic Indian Curry in a beautiful restaurant!
It is about a 1-2 minute walk from the Kyoto City Bus "Kamigamo Misonobashi" bus stop. In addition to lunch, you can enjoy authentic Indian Curry and delicious tandoor dishes cooked in a tandoor oven |
Taj Mahal Everest is located on the first floor of the building next to Osho, about 1-2 minutes walk from Kamigamo-Misonbashi on the Kyoto City Bus. Curry is a genre that has a wide variety of tastes, and personally I prefer sweeter curry than the original. I ordered a double curry rice (with chicken tikka, salad, and drink) with medium spiciness. The salad arrived in 2-3 minutes, and the double curry arrived in less than 10 minutes. It was pumpkin keema curry and chicken curry. The chicken tikka was authentic but had a mild spice, and the curry was spicy enough that even the default spiciness seemed spicier than Coco Ichibanya, so I was relieved. I also liked the softness of the white rice. I don't know where they are from, but most of the staff were wearing bindis, and on the table there were flowers, fruits, candles, money, and a picture frame of Ganesha or something... I guess they are Hindus, a country of prayer. The service was polite. (Sorry, I'm just an indifferent funeral Buddhist.) Next time, I'll increase the spiciness and get it as takeaway.
