会社の出張でこちらへ訪問し、そばをいただきました。
こちらは京都市とはいうものの、南丹市や亀岡市と隣接しており、しかも山の中なのでアクセスは非常に不便です。バイクのライダーがたくさん来てましたね。
私は天ざるをオーダー。
まず、お通しで揚げ蕎麦が出されました。そばを細かく刻んで、天ぷらにしてます。塩味がきいてて美味しいです。こういうサービスはありがたい。
主役のおそばはというと、かなり細く切られているにもかかわらず、コシは失っていない。そばの風味そのものを感じられるものでした。喉越しもよく、どんどん箸が進みます。天ぷらは、やはりこういう地域の特色を生かして、山菜がメイン。ウドの葉、キクナ、しいたけ、サツマイモ、ニンジンと玉ねぎのかき揚げでした、どれも美味。抹茶塩でいただきますが、素朴な味わいでいい。また、食後に出される蕎麦湯は、今まで見たことのないほど濃厚というか、ドロっとしてます。これがまた旨い。
アクセスは不便ですし、値段もお安いわけではないですけど、味は本物です。また、スタッフの方々も非常に愛想がよくて、好印象です。都会の喧騒に疲れたら、こういうところで自然の味に癒されるのもいいんじゃないでしょうか。なお、蕎麦以外にも、先ほどの蕎麦の天ぷらやそばプリッツなど、蕎麦の加工品が販売されているのも見逃せない。
