京都の市街地から、日本海に抜ける周山街道。その入り口となる「三尾」のひとつと言われる高雄。
京都はもとより、日本でも有数の紅葉の名所です。北山杉の美しい林を背景に、燃えるような紅葉が続く山里の風景。高雄の風情も、古都京都のもつ美しい一面です。
と、高雄保勝会のサイトの引用をしてみましたが「高雄」って今回訪れるまで知りませんでした。
紅葉の名所といわれるのがわかる、夏はすばらしい青もみじでした。
渓流を眺めながら川床で贅沢なお食事。さすがに「あー、涼しい」って感じはなかなか難しいでもクーラー無しで耐えられるのだから街中よりはずっと過ごしやすいです。
神護寺まで400段の石段、秋とか春なら気持ちよいお散歩くらいの距離のはずですが、暑過ぎた！汗だくで、途中、硯石亭で氷休憩を挟んでなんとかお寺まで辿り着きました。
鮎を肴にお酒を頂きながら、鵜（？）の魚獲りを目撃したり、吊り橋渡りながらサスペンスみたーいとはしゃいだり、舞妓さんそっと隠し撮りしたり、楽しい大人の遠足になりましたー。紅葉の季節にまた来たいです！
ランチとお酒で1人8000円ほど。10:50JR花園駅に迎えに来てもらい、20〜30分山の中へ。お昼終えて送りのバス14:20発まではフリータイムなので、近くの神護寺の散策に出かけることができます。
