大原までドライブ。市街地から20kmたらずなのに、ほどよく山道で楽しい。道中「里の駅大原」という看板が気になったので、道案内の看板に従って、立ち寄ってみました。
野菜の即売が行われいる部屋や、お餅をついている工場、そして、食事や甘味が食べられる、こちらのお店と並んでいました。駐車場もなかなか広くて使いやすいです。
つきたてのお餅のぜんざいを注文しました。白いもちや、よもぎもち、栃もちから選べるようだったので、栃もちぜんざい450円を…。注文してから、結構待った感が…。でも15～20分くらいかな。
大きくて柔らかくてのびーる栃もちがでーん。色の薄い汁は、甘みがたっぷり。箸ですくうと、ころころっとした大粒の小豆が出てきました。暑い日だったけど、温かいぜんざいも悪くない（笑）
野菜の即売場のほうでは、いろんな野菜や、鯖寿司、パン、お餅、クッキーなど、「私たちが作りました」という顔写真入りの名前のついた看板の元で売られていました。夏じゃなかったら、その日に帰る予定だったら、安かったからいろいろ買いたかったなぁー。
