伏見稲荷神社近くでランチ、高得点で気になっていたこちらのお店に訪問。予約必須とのコメントを見て予約しての訪問ですが、この日は週末だけど割と空いていました。場所は伏見稲荷駅からすぐだけど、裏道にあるので観光客はあまり来ないでしょうね。
こちらのお店、店名にも蛙が入っていますが、店の中も蛙の飾りや置物がいっぱい、カウンターには一席蛙が座っています。店主が蛙好きなのかな？さて、注文は月替わりの懐石コース、2100円です。ちなみに、コース料理は蛙は全く関係ありません。内容は、
・カツオのタタキカクテル
・端午八寸
・ワタリガニ具足揚げ
・夏野菜の冷たい茶碗蒸し
・スズキ柏葉焼きアボガド味噌ソース
・ご飯と漬物と味噌汁
・デザートは抹茶ティラミス
・水出しの煎茶
高級食材は全く使っていないけど、料理は見た目も綺麗な手の込んだ懐石料理です。それにちゃんとどれも美味しく作られています。特にワタリガニの具足揚げが一番個人的には気に入りました。高級ではないけど、京都らしさも感じられる和食なので、伏見稲荷観光のついでのお昼にはうってつけのお店だと思います。
