There used to be Ramen shop called "Shiun" in this place. I think the owner was still in his teens. He was in charge of a small store in a chain restaurant and was the manager. It wasn't a big hit, but it was pretty tasty and the service was good. However, I don't think it was particularly delicious. This is where he opened his own ramen shop. Was it Ramen shop before that? Or a set meal restaurant? I went there twice to eat, and I remember it was just an ordinary "good student" Ramen. It was too good, so there was nothing special about it. It didn't become very popular, and it closed down. I'm interested to know where that young owner is and what he's doing now, but there seems to be no way to follow him... After that, someone else opened Ramen shop, but it closed down, and then Nakakoji came in, and it's been about a year and a half since then? This was my first visit. The reason was that they were planning to open a "branch" in a place nearby that I often pass by, and I was told that I should "try Ramen at the main store." (I lied) I should have ordered Ramen, but since I was in the mood for Mazesoba (Soupless noodles), I ordered Mazesoba (Soupless noodles) (regular) for 900 yen by default. It was a standard Mazesoba with thick noodles (my preference), spring onions, diced pork, nori seaweed, and bamboo Mazesoba (Soupless noodles). Maybe the portion was a little too much? The bowl was quite large, so it wasn't difficult to mix. One bite, wow, it's delicious! (^^v All the ingredients were well seasoned and I thought Mazesoba (Soupless noodles) here was really "top notch". The portion was a little too much and I should have ordered a small, but I ended up full. If possible, I would have liked to gulp down a beer here, but I had come by motorbike and they didn't have any non-alcoholic beer so I held back... And so I ate it all. It was delicious. Is the value for money a little low? The inside of the store wasn't dirty, but a little untidy? They also sold Bento (boxed lunch) and some people came to buy some. It might be worth giving it a try. (Maybe I'd like to take some back to work and have a beer with me? (^^;) Anyway, I heard that this store is opening new branches. Who will do it? What will they do with this store? Can they prevent the taste from deteriorating? It's only been open a year and a half. I think I'll go check out the taste of the branch that will be opening soon. I feel like I'm a la la la la in Jamaica... (^^; I am a la la la la la
