淀駅から数分のところにある鳥料理中心の居酒屋、淀駅周辺は居酒屋がすくないので貴重な一店です。
納所の交差点の大通りに面しているため、案外と見つけにくいかも。
なお、本店は、伏見桃山にあり、いつ見ても大行列ができている人気店。
淀店は、駅自体がマイナーなこともあるのか比較的すいている印象が強い、当日ふらっといっても入れないことは稀かと思う。
店内は、和様式なムードで物静か。テーブル、座敷、カウンターがそれぞれ数席ずつあり、用途に合わせて落ち着ける。
なお、前述の本店は店構えそのものが観光名所のような作りだが、淀店は普通の現代風なお店である。
料理は、店の名前のとおり鳥料理が殆ど。色々あるなかでお勧めは「パリ（皮）揚げ」鳥の皮を揚げたものだが、付属のたれをつけるとパリッとして美味しい。
その他、焼鳥等、何を食べても美味しかった。
いつも単品で頼むのでコースや鍋はどんな感じか分からないが、おそらく美味しいであろうことは想像できる。
