今日は、京都府の南の方の八幡市の方面へ行っていました。
京阪の石清水八幡宮駅の駅前に、鯖寿司の有名店があるということで、立ち寄ってみました。
■棒寿司 朝日屋
石清水八幡宮がある山の麓にて、100年以上の歴史がある食堂のようです。
夜の時間帯は、家族で食事している人たち、それに飲んでいる地元の人たちで賑わっている印象でした。
空いていたカウンター席に、ご案内していただきました。
名物の「鯖の棒寿し」の他、丼ものや唐揚げなどが、メニューに並んでいました。
せっかくなので、鯖の棒寿しとうどんを注文です。
●鯖の棒寿し（３貫）
三陸から仕入れた極上のサバを使用するという、こだわりのようです。
とても肉厚のある鯖です(^-^)
鯖寿司は、醤油で食べるスタイルのようです。
１貫がけっこう大きめなので、大口で頬張って味わいました。
鯖の旨味がたっぷり。おいしいです。
●きつねうどん
大きめのお揚げが乗った、きつねうどんです。
わかめ、ネギ、かまぼこなども一緒に盛り付けられていました。
丼が大きめのため、うどんもたっぷりな印象です。
出汁は優しくて、旨味がたっぷり。
ふっくらしたお揚げに染み込ませて味わいました。
うどんと鯖寿司３貫を平らげて、ちょうどいい満足感でした。
