京都府長岡京市にあるまるか食堂さんにランチで伺いました。
仕事でたまたま長岡京市に行くことになったので、美味しいランチが食べられるところを探しているとまるか食堂のトンテキが気になりました。
お昼12時前にお店に到着、店舗前には駐車スペースが二台分しかなく先客有りで仕方なく少し離れた駅近くのコインパーキングへ駐車。
店内に入ると多くのお客さんが配膳を待っているところでした。
かろうじて座ることができましたが、後から来たお客さんたちは店外で並んでいました。
カウンター席があって1人でも入りやすく、お店の奥には団体のお客さんたちが入っていたので、確認できませんでしたがお座敷になっているような感じでした。
注文は、もちろんトンテキ定食300g。
量は、200g300g400gの3種類から選べて、ご飯も小か大（有料）かも調整してもらえます。
ご飯のおかわり（有料）もできるので、とりあえず私は並にしました。
トンテキ定食300g 1300円（税込）
調理を拝見すると、焼かれた豚を冷水でジャブジャブと洗い流していました。その後、タレを絡めて煮込み仕上げ。
確か前に冷水で余分な脂を流して臭みをとり、お肉をシメることで柔らかく仕上がると聞いたことがある調理方法。
待つこと約30分、トンテキ定食の300gが配膳されました。
ビジュアルはなかなかのボリュームで、湯気立ち込める熱々のトンテキに山盛りのキャベツ。
食べる前から期待値は爆上がりです。
お肉を食べてみると、柔らかくジューシーでパサつきもなくとても美味しい。しかも、程よく残った脂もしつこくなくて全くもたれない。
見た目が濃い感じのタレも甘過ぎず辛過ぎずで、どちらかというと肉に絡んでも割とあっさり食べれて箸が止まりません。
そのタレに絡んだキャベツもめちゃくちゃ美味しいです。
私の中のトンテキのイメージは、パサパサでタレが甘い重たい感じでしたが、まるか食堂さんのトンテキ定食を食べてその概念は払拭されました。
全てがちょうどいい旨いトンテキが食べられるまるか食堂さんはオススメです。
