Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located right next to Doshisha-mae Station on the JR Gakkentoshi Line (Katamachi Line). It's a lively place where most of the part-time staff and customers are students. Today I've brought along two current students (No. 1 and No. 2), so even an older guy like me can come in ლ(^o^ლ) We started with draft beer. No. 1 and No. 2 had soft drinks. We each ordered two types of Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), and a few quick dishes from the menu. We drank beer while listening to people talk about their daily lives. Torikizoku's selling point is value for money, so even the mega highballs are very cheap. Even if you're full, it's only just over 2,000 yen per person. It's great value for money, as you'd expect.
