約8年ぶりに津市内に仕事で宿泊。8年前は日帰りだったので、今宵は以前から行きたいお店があり事前に予約をして伺いました。
津駅から3分程度と宿泊ホテルからも近く、個人的にはありがたい。
店内は古民家風ながらも品があるお店で、入った瞬間の雰囲気の良さを感じました。
さて1人で予約したので不安はあったものの、2人がけの半個室をご用意していただき、着物姿の女将さんからご挨拶とともに温かい接客を受けて、コースのスタートです。
現在はコロナ禍明けで未だお客さんが以前ほど完全に戻らないなかでの手探りの中だけに、夜はコース料理をメインに提供なさっているようです。
結論から言えば、こちらのお店を選んで正解でした。
お料理の見せ方、彩り、器の美しさ、お料理の量、味、お客さんに対する気配りと心地よく、お料理と三重の地酒のマリアージュを楽しむことができました。
個人的にははも春天は、はもの旨みと梅酢の酸味がサッパリとして美味しかったです。鮎のコンフィも香ばしく、辛口日本酒にとても合いました。もちろんその他のお料理も満足させていただきました。
注文した日本酒は、華やかな香りと味わいの純米吟醸の作、辛口純米の瀧自慢、同じく辛口のるみこの酒をいただきました。グラスとともに銘柄のコースター風の書き置きがあり、何を飲んでるのか分かるのがお客さん目線でよかったです。
ある程度コースも終わりに近づく中で、まだ物足りずもう少しお店のお料理をいただきたくなり、アラカルトもいただけるとのことでしたので、あわびの活き造り、松阪牛のにぎり、宮の雪の熱燗を追加注文しました。新鮮なあわびのコリコリした歯応えと甘み、熱燗に合わない訳はなく美味しくいただきました。松阪牛のにぎりも柔らかく美味しかったです。
最後は飲んだ後でもさっぱりといただける風味のある牛蒡の炊き込みご飯、あおさの赤出しは、ほっとさせる味わい。デザートも良かったです。
帰り際に女将さんとお話しさせていただきましたが、お店を開いて約20年とのこと。津市は観光地でないため、まだまだお客さんが完全に戻ってきてはいないとのこと。そんななかで、お客さんをもてなすために、前を向きいろいろ考えてらっしゃる女将さんの人柄は素晴らしいと感じました。
機会があれば是非伺いたいなあと思わせるお店でした。
ランチも美味しそうですので、日帰りのときはランチに寄らせていただきます。
