I visited this Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant on National Route 23 in Matsusaka City on a weekday evening. There were five sunken kotatsu tables and one table, and I went in around 6pm, and it was about 50% full. The meat was mainly beef, such as kalbi, loin, tongue, hanging, tsurami, and horumon, but there were also chicken and pork, and there were many types of horumon, but the overall variety was not that large. In addition, the side dishes included chive horumon hotpot, bibimbap, gukbap, seared wagyu nigiri, and other rice dishes, and even an interesting dish called omuhayashi with horumon. From those, I tried tongue, top-grade kalbi, and young chicken. The tongue is the signature dish of this restaurant, and it is thick and firm, soft and full of flavor, and the seasoning is also exquisitely salty, which I really like. When you put the top-grade kalbi in your mouth, it has a soft texture and the sweetness of the fat spreads in your mouth as if it melts in your mouth, which is what kalbi is all about. Recently, I've felt that the fat was a little heavy, but this was not the case at all, and the kalbi was very delicious, just the way I like it. And the young chicken. This is not a chicken Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant, but I couldn't resist ordering it just because it's Matsusaka. It was plump and juicy, the meat had a strong flavor, and it was also reasonably priced, which was nice. To finish off the meal, I ordered omuhayashi with offal. I haven't been eating rice at Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurants lately, but I was really intrigued by the idea of omuhayashi at a Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant, so I ordered it. The fluffy and soft egg was of a very high quality, and the generous amount of sauce was also great. Although the sauce itself is not as good as that of a proper Western Western Cuisine, it seems to have been thoroughly cooked and the flavor of the onions and other ingredients has been dissolved into it. The offal was not greasy, which was different from my own image of it, but it had a firm texture and flavor, and it was not bad. The meat was delicious, but I really liked the seasoning of Salted beef tongue and the sweet taste of the dipping sauce. Overall it was very good, thank you for the meal.
