松阪市にある和食店・弁当店。
「アラタケ」と読む。社名は「新竹商店」らしい。
創業は1895年。
松阪牛を使った料理や弁当を提供する。
駅弁もある。
営業時間は7時から20時。
モー太郎寿司は、当店が提供する駅弁の1種。
あら竹オリジナルキャラクターのモー太郎（食われる側に回されないのか、といらぬ心配をしてしまう）を全面に押し出した弁当。
要するに、牛肉しぐれ煮の巻き寿司。
モー太郎のイラスト入りの箱を開けると、中にはカットされた巻き寿司が一本丸ごと収まっている。
松阪牛のしぐれ煮は、甘辛く味付けされていて、若干濃い目。
同じく、酢飯も濃い目に味付けされている。駅弁なので、消費期限をなるべく延ばす必要もあり、濃い目にせざるを得ないのか。
個人的には、もう少し薄味だった方が良かった。
ボリュームがあり（280g）、食べ応えが。
オリジナルシール入り。
巻き寿司としては安くはないが、松阪牛を使った駅弁としては安い部類に入る。
