Enjoy our proud, tender meat made from safe and secure domestic chicken!
By carefully preparing the meat, they make it soft and bring out its natural flavor, and many people are surprised at how tender it is after just one bite. The homemade sauce is sweet with a spicy aft |
I visited this Matsusaka specialty chicken Yakiniku (Grilled meat) restaurant on a weekday evening, located just a 15-minute walk from Matsusaka Station. The restaurant has four counter seats, six tables, and three tatami-mat seats. I went in around 6 p.m., and there was only one other customer. The menu is centered around chicken Yakiniku (Grilled meat), such as breast, thigh, skin, meat, liver, and gizzard, as well as beef such as kappa, innards, and white senmai, sausages, and a wide variety of side Fried food, including fried chicken dish, fried chicken skin, and deep-fried chikuwa, as well as thigh and breast teriyaki, chicken udon, and chicken hotpot. The price is around 460 to 500 yen per portion of chicken, but the portions are quite generous, so it's a reasonable price range. From that, I tried breast, thigh, liver, etc. The breast is best enjoyed when lightly seared, which is a unique feature of fresh meat. I had the meat, which was grilled a little rare like tataki, with salt, and it was very delicious, with a light taste but still had a strong umami flavor. Other than that, the thigh was soft and juicy and went perfectly with the miso dipping sauce, and the liver was sweet and had no odor, and everything was delicious. I really wanted to try the beef and kappa, but unfortunately it was out of stock that day. Next time I'd like to try the chicken as well as the kappa. Thank you for the meal.
