Mysterious Gourmet Explorer in Matsusaka. Tonight we're going to eat meat in Matsusaka. However, with the budget of our team, Matsusaka beef is just a dream. We went to Nikbardakara. First, we toast with draft beer. We ordered the assorted appetizers (five kinds, 990 yen), stewed tripe, and fried shrimp and avocado. The appetizer (300 yen) is a baguette. You can have as many as you like. The assorted appetizers include pate de campagne and ratatouille. It's just the right size for two or three people. We'll have the stewed tripe with the baguette appetizer. For the main course, we had rump Steak (990 yen). It's delicious for the price. It's a restaurant where you can eat meat cheaply and easily. Mysterious Gourmet Explorers in Matsusaka. Tonight, I went to Meat Bar, a restaurant I've been curious about for a while. It opened just last year, but it's always crowded with customers. It seems that there are reservations for later today, so I was allowed in with a time limit. First, a toast with beer. I ordered the restaurant's specialty, roast Cow tongue, coleslaw salad, and dried fig and cream cheese dip. The appetizer is a baguette, but you can have as many as you like. It's delicious to eat the baguette with fig and cream cheese. This goes better with wine than beer. The coleslaw salad is just shredded cabbage with salt, which is not so good. It doesn't go well with the cabbage. The roast Cow tongue goes perfectly with beer. It's not bad considering the price. After a few drinks, I ordered pasta (Bolognese) at the end. This was neither good nor bad. It seems to be a chain restaurant, so it's not that "delicious!", but it has a slightly stylish feel and you can eat and drink at a reasonable price. There are only typical Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) around here so I can see why it's popular.
