四日市銘菓なが餅。
餡を包み、細長く薄く伸ばして火で炙った餅菓子で、戦国時代から食べられていたとされる、歴史ある銘菓です。
こちらの笹井屋さんは、なが餅の元祖として1550年に創業、現存するなが餅のお店の中では、最も古いとされています。
この日購入したのは、7個入り¥648です。
実際に食べてみると、少し硬めの餅の中に程よい量の餡が入っています。
大福などを食べる際、一口かぶり付くと必要以上の甘さを感じてしまう事があります。
このなが餅だと、均等に餡をたべれた良いですね。
この餅の硬さ加減が、個人的にはかなり気に入っています。
人への土産物などでは、間違いなく喜ばれる逸品かと思います。
