This is dinner long before the coronavirus infection. I had dinner after shopping on my way home from work after the Obon holiday. Since I started cooking for myself because of the coronavirus, I have been eating out much less. This time, I went to the Chinese restaurant Mishinkan Yokkaichi branch. This was my first time at the Yokkaichi branch, but I have been to the Iga and Seki branches several times. I looked up the general location on the map and headed there, but I couldn't find it. Looking closely at the map on Tabelog, I saw that it was on a narrow road a little off the wide road. However, the parking lot is connected, so as long as you know the location, you can get there. The restaurant has a counter, tables, and tatami mat seating, and the parking lot is large, so it is easy to enter for families or alone. The menu seems to be the same as other branches, but there are many set menus. At the Seki branch, I happened to order komayaki and rice twice in a row, so this time I tried a set meal. The price was reasonable, so I decided on the Twice-Cooked Pork Set Meal (980 yen + tax). There are also many types of single dishes, Noodles, and rice dishes. The food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. In addition to the twice-cooked pork, the set also includes fried chicken, spring rolls, squid dumplings, salad, soup, rice, and dessert. It's quite filling. The twice-cooked pork had a lot of cabbage and not much meat, but the strong seasoning made it a great meal with rice. The fried chicken, spring rolls, and squid dumplings in the set were freshly fried, filling, and delicious. The amount of twice-cooked pork was small, but this alone was enough to fill me up. I got some vegetables in the salad, and it came with a dessert, so although it cost over 1000 yen, it was a great deal. There are many delicious Chinese restaurants in Yokkaichi City, but the number of options has increased. I'm not sure if I can update my blog at my usual pace, but I'll try to write at a leisurely pace.
