This is a story about something strange. Because of a meeting in Nagoya tomorrow, I stayed in Kameyama, which is not my area of responsibility. For two nights. I never stayed there even when I was in the Nagoya sales office, so it felt strange. I left Wakayama in the morning, passed through Sennan and Nara, and arrived in Kameyama. I checked into a hotel in front of Kameyama Station, took care of some email work, and went out for dinner. There were two restaurants I had checked out in advance. A restaurant on the hotel grounds...oh, it's closed. So, I went to Cafeterias, which is across the street from the hotel. I opened the door and entered the restaurant. There were table seats on the left, and a counter and tatami room on the right with a raised floor. The lady cheerfully guided me to the counter. I sat at the edge of the counter and ordered a small beer. Oh, it's really small (lol). Cheers, phew, it's delicious. It was gone in one bite (lol). The appetizer was boiled root vegetables and shiitake Simmered dish. Chomp...oh! It's delicious. I can expect a lot from this. I ordered potato shochu on the rocks, salted kelp cabbage, and chicken skin skewers with secret sauce (2 or more). The potato shochu on the rocks and salted kelp cabbage arrived. Hmm, the amount of shochu (lol) Maybe they should have at least topped it off with ice. I took a bite of the salted kelp cabbage...! Oh, it's surprisingly delicious! The cabbage is tossed in sesame oil and salted kelp. The shochu went down well. The chicken skin skewers arrived in no time. I chomped...! Oh! It's delicious! The sauce is delicious. The grilled version is also good. I ordered potato on the rocks, rolled omelet, and miso kushikatsu. The rolled omelet arrived right away. I chomped it right away...! It's delicious! It's so bouncy and nice! The broth and seasoning are just right! The miso kushikatsu arrived too. I chomped it right away...! It's delicious! It's crispy, has a good meaty texture, and a nice miso flavor. Phew, I ate. The food was delicious. I thought it would be just another Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), but the food was good. There is a wide variety of menu items, including Fried Skewers, Grilled skewer, deep-fried foods, grilled foods, and Simmered dish. The prices are also good and reasonable. It's comfortable and you can easily enter. It seems like a convenient Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). However, the amount of drinks could be a little more... If that were the case, I would rate it higher. If they added a bottle of shochu, I think we could enjoy it more. It's strange, considering the food is so good. It took a while for it to come out after we ordered. Maybe because it was still early? Overall, it was a good Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). Kameyamadomari is also a good choice.
