国道１号線を桑名から四日市方面に走っていると、後2～300ｍ位で四日市というところの川越・四日市の境界近くにトミスミートさんがある。
こちらは、併設のお肉屋さんがやっている焼肉屋で、その品質等々信頼のおけることろであるので、お昼時ともなれば、満車状態ということにもなる。小道を隔てた隣には、主にステーキのTomisu亭があり、同じグループ会社でこの一角は一大肉ワールドの様相を呈している。
焼肉を食べたいところであるが、ちょうどお昼時、今回は入門編として、おすすめのランチセットにしてみた。1,000円（税別）のステーキ丼を選択。サラダ・天ぷら・蓮根等の煮物・スープも付いているようだ。
山葵でステーキを食べてみる。その肉質が柔らかで、噛みしめるとジューシーな味わいはさすが。モモ肉といえどもこの仕上がり、食感は高級肉をも感じさせるもの。また、わさびの辛みは、肉の旨みを相乗効果で高めたようである。
これは、焼肉を食べに行くのも楽しみになった。
